Rescheduling:

If you need to reschedule a tutoring session, you must advise us 48 hours before your scheduled class. Out of consideration for our instructors, rescheduling will be permitted a maximum of twice per month per student. All rescheduling requests must be sent to aet@americanenglishtutors.com. Please do not directly contact your instructor about rescheduling.

Missing Classes:

If you will miss a tutoring session, please provide 24 hours notice to aet@americanenglishtutors.com. With a minimum of 24 hours notice, we can reschedule or refund the class you will miss. If you provide less than 24 hours notice, you will not be able to reschedule the class, nor will you be eligible for a refund.

Late Arrivals:

If you are late for a tutoring session, your instructor will wait for you for up to 15 minutes before the class is considered missed. If you arrive prior to that 15 minutes, but still late for your session, your session will commence late and conclude at the regularly scheduled time.

Class duration:

All classes start on the hour or half hour and end promptly after 25 or 50 minutes, depending on your chosen class time. This allows your instructor time to prepare your evaluation and prepare for the next class.

Reenrollments:

Near the end of your scheduled weeks, in order to keep your current schedule the following month, please email us at aet@americanenglishtutors.com, so that we can guarantee availability.

Inappropriate Conduct:

As a student of American English Tutors, during your tutoring sessions and in all correspondence, you are expected to act in a way that would not be considered inappropriate. Inappropriate conduct is cause for immediate termination of your membership with us, and legal action may be pursued at our discretion.
