System Requirements
With no software to install or update, your time is focused on your school's academic programs – rather than maintaining servers and software. Stars Suite is fully web-based, which means students, teachers, and administrators can access the system anywhere with an internet connection.
Stars Suite system requirements:
- 56kbps internet connection, per user
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or greater
- Adobe Reader 6.0 or greater
- Adobe Flash*
- System compatible sound card and headphones**
At this time, we are fully compatible with Internet Explorer 7.0. Our development team is currently working to ensure Stars Suite is fully compatible with other Web browsers, including Firefox, Safari, and Opera. If you have any questions regarding the use of these browsers, or the use of a MAC, please contact support at 866-890-8152.
*Adobe Flash is required to view the interactive maps in our Geography: An Introduction course. Non-interactive maps are also available which do not require Flash.
** A sound card and headphones are required for our Spanish I course.
